We visited CCCC Highway Consultants Co., Ltd. in Zhuhai, formerly the Highway Planning and Design Institute (HPDI) of China’s Ministry of Transport and now a wholly-owned subsidiary of CCCC. The team presented landmark projects including the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao (HZM) Bridge, and shared their full-range capabilities—from road and bridge design to traffic planning, surveying, quantity surveying, and construction supervision. It was impressive for us to see how they have expanded both upstream and downstream across the infrastructure value chain.
